A French consortium to accelerate precision medicine through AI-enabled digital pathology

Humanity: The people at the heart of AI-Augmented healthcare

A landmark government-endorsed program to structure and scale the digital pathology ecosystem in France to augment and improve the diagnosis of cancer.

PortrAIt aims to accelerate digital transformation that will:

Provide access to better, more targeted testing and treatments for patients, no matter their location.
Democratize access to care and provide more precision medicine solutions for doctors and hospitals.
Improve productivity and reduce inter-physician variability.
Support the discovery of new therapeutic pathways.

Diagnostic solutions to help precision pathology

PortrAIt will enable pathology labs and research hospitals across France to work with technology leaders to develop and deploy digital pathology AI tools in three main areas:

Disease diagnosis

Detection of disease, tumor grading or feature counting.

Biomarker discovery

Identify patients that may benefit from targeted therapies.

Outcome prediction

Characterize a patient’s risk or prognosis more fully.
